Wednesday 6 June
Jubilee Street Party (Action for Children – Warren Park), 2.00-5.00pm

Many of you have supported the Action for Children charity as a whole and Warren Park Children’s Centre in Kingston in particular. Now we at Warren Park would like to invite you to come and celebrate the Diamond Jubilee with us at a street party. It will be held at our centre on Kingston Hill and there will be a bring-and-share tea (refreshments provided) and games and stalls together with a chance to meet our staff and children and see the premises which you so generously help to keep going. Some of the staff and children will also be washing cars for a small donation!  It would be useful to know numbers so please let Lorraine Webb know (lwebb2001@ymail.com) if you’d like to come.

Sunday 10 June
Spirited Arts Exhibition

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the circuit; an exhibition of art created by children and youth (from around the country) is to be displayed in each church. The art focuses on different aspects of the Christian faith, such as 'Who is God?'  'What is the spirit?'  The children and young people were asked these questions during a workshop; they then were able to express their answers through art.  This is an exhibition well worth seeing as it gives an insight into the theological thoughts of the children, many being quite profound and thought provoking. It will be at Surbiton after Church on 10 June. Any queries contact Sharon Lloyd 07806 559 852.
