Church Worship
Services are at 10.30am and 6.30pm each Sunday, with one Communion Service a month at each time.
The Methodist Church welcomes all those who seek
the peace of Christ to its Communion Table, irrespective of denomination.
Worship is at the heart of the church’s life. The mainstream style of worship at Surbiton Hill could be broadly described as traditional. However, we try to respond to the varying ways in which all can celebrate their faith and come closer to God.
We use multi media equipment and techniques. These feature particularly in our monthly All-Age Worship morning Services, which include input from Maranatha, our music group. Evening Services tend to be quieter and more reflective.
Worship is led by our ministerial staff and Lay Preachers, who bring different styles of prayer, teaching and music. Morning Service music is led by our choir.
Throughout the year our worship is centred on the Christian festivals and we welcome anyone who feels drawn to the church on these occasions.
We offer a warm welcome to all and would say to anyone seeking a spiritual meaning to their lives, but hesitating about coming into a new place – please come and try us.
