Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness (KCAH)
Around 500 people are threatened with homelessness in our Borough every year. Around 100 people still have no option other than rough sleeping or sofa surfing. In response to this problem Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness has operated a nightshelter. For 6 churches across the Borough have opened their buildings to provide accommodation for homeless people.
The Joel Project run by the Joel Community Trust aims to provide a permanent nigh shelter for local people in need and tackle the root causes of homelessness, with help from KCAH and the Kingston Churches.
